LIZY, whose name is mentioned in a deed of the eleventh century, was long an agricultural center, industrial and commercial of any importance (flour mills, sheets, oil - markets - shops). With the situation on the axis PARIS-REIMS one hand, and shipping on the other hand Ourcq LIZY was the warehouse of the neighboring countryside.
