Burwell Millennium Wall Panel Project

Community Based Arts Project celebrating life in Burwell at the time of the Millennium
After starting life as little more than an idea to celebrate the Millennium, the project was completed and revealed on 19th July 2001. A grant from East Cambridgeshire District Council funded the developmental stage of the project. Local artist Zoe Chamberlain worked with Burwell residents of all ages to generate ideas and themes for a permanent wall based feature at the entrance of the Village College. This was achieved through a number of workshop sessions and an open day.
