Welcome to the Web Page for BAGS

Last updated 19-July-2023

About Us

BAGS' membership covers our affiliation to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (NSALG) (£3 per member) which includes a quarterly magazine and free legal advice; participation in the Suttons Seeds discount scheme which gives 40% off seeds and 10% off other items all year round; discounts at local nursery Simpsons and at Hedgehog Plants at Risby Barns.

Membership is open to all Burwell's gardeners whether they have a back yard with flower pots or a full-sized allotment plot. To join us costs £10 per household per year from 1st April to 31st March.

BAGS’ aims to represent the interests of Burwell’s gardeners and plot-holders by promoting the benefits of gardening generally and organizing activities of interest to members as well as forming a community that will develop and protect the allotment site into the future.
